Traveling Around Ventura
If your move includes a flight, it’s at least an hour’s drive to the nearest major airport. Burbank’s Bob Hope Airport is about 54 miles from central Ventura, Los Angeles International Airport is 56 miles away, John Wayne Airport is 91 miles away in Santa Ana and Ontario International Airport is 98 miles away. To get to the airport, you could take U.S. Route 101 – also known as Ventura Freeway – which will also take you to other destinations along the coast.
