A Bit About Spokane
Located in the eastern part of Washington State near the Idaho border, Spokane sits on 57.8 square miles of land, and the second-largest city in the state. The city is aptly named for the Spokane River which runs through it. Spokane rests between two mountain ranges, the Rocky Mountains and the Cascade Mountains, which allows it to be drier than other cities in the Pacific Northwest. Summers are surprisingly dry, though winters can see snowfall on occasion. While you should have no trouble moving to Spokane at any time of year, you may want to check with your Spokane movers about how they function during periods of inclement weather. The most popular highway in Spokane is I-90, though some state routes also pass through the city. Spokane International Airport is situated five miles from the city and serves ten commuter airlines, so you should be able to arrive in your new city either by air or car.
Good luck with your move - I look forward to helping you find the right Spokane movers!
