These skilled and experienced people make sure I’m on the right track.
Alon Matas
Alon Matas is the Founder and CEO of Billy.com and MediaBoost.
Alon honed his managerial skills in the Israeli army where he supervised several
major software projects. In 2000 he joined WizApp, a dot-com startup, where he served
as the company's VP of R&D. In 2002 Alon founded Compile, an internet venture
incubator. As the CEO of Compile, he initiated and executed several successful international
web-based enterprises.
Avi Kerbs
Avi Kerbs is the President and CEO of Teuza Management. Mr. Kerbs, who possesses
over 20 years of experience in high technology systems and management, launched
Teuza in 1992. He currently serves as a director on the boards of most of Teuza's
portfolio companies.
Avi is a member of both Technion and Haifa university Board of governors and used
to serve as the chairman of the Scientific and Academic Club of Haifa University.
Mr. Kerbs hold a B.Sc.and M.Sc. in Industrial Management from the Technion.
Ehud Levy
Ehud Levy is a Managing Partner at Vertex Venture Capital with approximately two
decades of experience in the high-tech industry. He has vast knowledge and expertise
in the areas of investment and finance, management and operations, and entrepreneurship.
Ehud co-founded and was Chairman & CEO of Ki-Bi Mobile Technologies, the mass-market
device specialist for mobile content distribution, where he led the business from
concept to commercial success of about one million units sold, strong brand recognition,
IPO in London, and its eventual takeover. Ehud functioned as a director and partner
at STI Ventures, a venture capital firm, where he led investments and worked closely
with founders on appreciating value of companies.
Earlier in his career, as COO and CFO of the telecommunications company, Telegate
Ltd., Ehud played a major role in turning the company into a success story and was
responsible for the implementation of an extensive restructuring plan which culminated
in the acquisition of the company for over $400 million by Terayon (TERN). Ehud
also served as a private equity investor and an investment banker in New York and
Tel Aviv with Oscar Gruss & Son (now CIBC - Oppenheimer Israel). At Oscar Gruss,
Ehud conducted investment activities focusing on Israeli hi-tech industry. In New
York, he worked on public equity transactions and financial advisory assignments.
Ehud holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering (with honors) from the Technion, and
an MBA from Columbia University in New York.
Eliezer Tokman
Eliezer Tokman has been appointed the CEO of Siemens Israel Ltd on October 2008.
Prior to joining Siemens Eliezer Tokman served on the board of directors of a number
of companies most of which are engaged in the medical imaging field including Surgix
Ltd, Arineta Ltd, Paieon Inc., Mediaboost Ltd and Orbotech Ltd. From 1984 to 1998
Mr. Tokman was employed within the Elscint group of companies in variety of managerial
roles including as president of Elscint America and general manager of the CT Division.
From 1998 to 2002 He continued to pursue his career in different multinational companies
like Marconi Medical Systems Inc. and Philips America, focusing on business development
and strategic planning. Eliezer holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
from the Technion.
Noga Kap
Noga Kap is a Managing Director at BRM Hi-Tech. Bringing over twenty years of hands-on
experience in sales, finance and management in the high-tech industry, she is responsible
for all seed and early-stage investments in BRM Hi-Tech.
Prior to joining BRM, Noga was General Partner at Walden Israel Venture Capital
from 2000-2008. Before joining Walden, she founded the first European subsidiary
for MINT Technologies, a leading provider of intelligent middleware solutions for
application integration in the financial services industry, leading the company
to become a leader in the EAI market, including the acquisition of SunGard Data
Systems Inc. (NYSE:SDS). Prior to MINT, Noga held several managerial Operations
positions in telecom service companies in Israel and abroad, notably Consortium
International and Koor Communications.
Currently Noga sits on the board of MediaBoost, Mo'Minis and DoAt.
Noga holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Psychology from Tel Aviv University and an MBA
from Washington University.
